The matching score serves as an indication of compatibility but we do still encourage you to contact anyone who catches your attention. 

The score takes into account your respective test scores and your shared interests and hobbies.

The number is calculated when you’re first matched with someone, so it’s a good idea to make sure that your profile entries are complete, that you select your hobbies in the 'Interests' tab and that you upload a good profile photo. This will increase the likelihood of sharing a higher score with your new matches. 

Do you share a low matching score with one of your matches? Don’t be put off by this. It could be that this person did not completely fill out their profile. This is often the case when someone first registers and wants to take their time in making their profile engaging.
